Logo

This is the logo that I have created in photoshop for the news report. I have used the basic template of average TV logos such as the 'sky news' logo. I have called it 'Evening News' so that it is clear that it is a news broadcast.

Music Video Day!!!

Today we had Music Video Day at college where we were joined by some ex students and some other people with experience in filming music videos. We were shown how to apply make up successfully, shown some past students music videos, talking about our own ideas, and took part in a directors workshop, which was very helpful in learning how to direct your cast in the correct and most successful way. The day was really beneficial to me and has helped me understand things better. It was good to get the input of people who have already been in our shoes, and to get their take on the experience.

Website design - 2 hours

This is my website design after two hours of work. The top box will be filled with a photograph. I want to keep my design black and white with just part of the top photograph in colour to make it stand out. Black and white designs are very fashionable with website designs and i discovered this from my research. The black and white design also relates to the genre of the song, and matches the emotion.
I have included the handwritten text because it makes the website look more personal, like it is her actually autograph and she has made it herself. This will appeal to the target audience. The 'more....'s are hyper-linked to other pages on the site.

Test Shots - Hathersage Derbyshire

During the summer holidays, I visited Hathersage in Derbyshire, and thought that it could be a good possible filming location. I happened to have my camera with me (but not my tripod), so I decided to take some quick test shots while I was there. These would help me see what my ideas would actually look like and help me to find out what would and wouldn't work.  Due to the lack of a tripod and the very windy conditions, the shots aren't of a good quality, yet they do the job of helping me develop ideas, in prep for shooting.
